Ferrous Sulfate Heptahydrate 19.7% Fe
Ferrous sulfate heptahydrate is a commonly used coagulant in wastewater and drinking water treatment. It can be used directly in water treatment plants to improve the coagulation and removal of elements such as phosphorus.
Ferrous sulfate heptahydrate can also be used as:
- A strong reducing agent: Used for chromium wastewater of electroplating plants to reduce hexavalent chromium content to trivalent chromium
- A precipitant agent: Acts with sulfide, phosphate to generate sediments to remove sulfides, phosphates, etc.
- A flocculant: Has good flocculation effect and decolorization ability
- A sterilizer: Removes heavy metal ions, oil, and phosphorus
